RAW ENERGY
keep doors shut, mouths and minds, too
wait until life is through
that’s a place no one can stand
escape to see another band
tune into the sound that is around
step into the night, time’s getting tight
getting charged up with raw energy
feeling the thrill in the place to be
out there it’s a world of its own
don’t care about a boring home
six string weapon, four string hammer
join the attack of the heavy beat slammer
the words make you feel right, set you alight
ears ring with echoes from the last show
back on the train ‘till it runs out of stations
pumping with the latest vibrations
the new group is growing, they will play, too
they know just what to do
they enter the scene and come back for more
another kick that’s worth getting up for

Sell My City

SELL MY CITY
i want to break out, i want to be free
i want to live where there are people like me
i live in a city where there´s a lot of room to work in but no place to breathe freely
but no place for me
no one wants to be
in a place that has got no heart
offices and tower blocks
tear the city apart.
others are around
looking for a flat desperately,
but there´s just no place to be
i roam my streets by day and night,
looking for my record shop
but where I once bought spinning joy
is just another poster
telling me there’s upgrading going on
20 floors,
people stack themselves upon another
i wander on,
i wonder where my favorite shop once was
but it´s no longer there
i find the house where the shop used to be
protest squatters are being cleared by the police
what´s going on in this city
that sold its soul?
sell my city
sell its life
create another soulless pit
just for the sake of it
as soon as you are done
polishing the streets,
you will see
that dirt is what a scene needs

Propaganda Superpower

PROPAGANDA SUPERPOWER
let’s have another war in the streets
said the police man and cried out for a gun
they won’t have us down on our knees
said the protester on the run
paper headlines screaming, television’s beaming
the glory of the coppers’ hour, propaganda superpower
no matter what, the cause is lost
when a brick meets a bottle in the fight and the trouble
the lines are drawn, the first stone is cast
and when they charged the truth was put to rest
the fighters for a better home lay bleeding on the cobblestone
a baton in the ribs makes way for marble cribs
Just cause, much applause
mums brought their kids that day
yobs and thugs
that’s what the papers say
rights given, then denied
you tell me who asked for a fight
people gather to make things better
but the newsmen shout out lout
‘that’s a terrorist crowd!’

MINDLESS ISOLATION
your heroes are my enemies
they never did no good at all
your homeland is worldwide babylon.
prepare yourselves to fall
your legacy is standing tall
Standing tall
Your time is over
if it was ever there at all
Your time is over
but You don’t care at all
decades of stagnation
of mindless isolation
the world has turned around
more than once.
but the hard minded
won’t ever change, no they won’t ever change
cast down ideas set in stone
turn them over set the ruins alight
let’s warm our hands at the fire
to create something new
your heroes are my enemies
they never did no good at all
your homeland is
worldwide babylon
prepare yourselves to fall

Blackout Boy

BLACKOUT BOY
too much pressure, out of control
blackout boy releases his soul
the good boy lost his mask
society keeps him under arrest
scream, cry and shout
blackout boy freaks out
scream, cry and shout
blackout boy around
Call the police
many scars, broken glass, a hole in the wall
pointless destruction
a lot of chaos and a lot of pain
strange feelings in the end
social workers, parents and teachers
don’t know what to do
try to keep him quiet
but the boy is running riot
doesn’t care about your borders
‘cos his soul is out of order
out of order

one day I woke up
to find that there was
no reason for me to stand up
in the morning
nothing to stand up for in life
i don’t even have any reason to die
i don’t have a cause worth dying for
i don’t have a cause worth dying for
so as I lay there thinking
to myself
i found that I don’t even
have any cause to hear for
to talk for, to see for or to feel for
i want a cause worth dying for

MENSCHEN DIESER STADT
menschen dieser stadt
sitzen vorm tv
männer dieser stadt
schlagen ihre frau
menschen dieser stadt
machen fremde meinung platt
menschen dieser stadt
seid ihr alle satt?
mensch in diesem block
ist bei dir was zu holen?
mensch in diesem block
folgst du schon den parolen?
die stadt um dich herum
kann dir vieles geben
du reihst dich dort ein
wo kein mensch mehr lebt
alles dreht sich alles läuft
weil kein mensch mehr denkt
zahnrad im uhrwerk
der monotonie
menschen dieser Stadt
lesen dann und wann mal
zeitungen dieser Stadt
bilden meine meinung
menschen dieser Stadt
löschen gern das licht
denn im dunkeln
sieht man ihre missetaten nicht
menschen dieser stadt
fühlen sich hier wohl
menschen dieser Stadt
sind waschbeton-grau
gleicher schritt und gleiches leben
alle tragen Uniform
doch keiner sieht den dienst
den er an der waffe tut
das stadt-grau ist der krieg
langeweile munition
ich geb auf ich kann nicht mehr
das ist die kapitulation

Born A Lion

BORN A LION
a growling voice full of anger and passion
cried out to those who listen with their hearts
All around the world the same message to the people
They are what it’s all about
Be aware, look what’s left and right
don’t be shy, don’t step back from your fight
let the words find a tune and crank up the radio
don’t miss the action when you know there is a show
born a lion with a fire in his soul
born a lion; rocks with the dread at the controls
born a lion, prowl the burning streets
make another rebel heart beat
typewriter rebel and the warlord in charge
saying wise words with a rocking beat
stayed down to earth in a pair of leather boots
still was part of the people on the streets
music that matters, search all corners of the world
play what’s crucial and has to be heard
go as far as saturn with a trusty friend
road-worn and battered, an icon in the end

NOTHING TO LOSE
i cant wait i wanna get out
It will be late, fast and loud
meet my friends on the street
nothing to lose and nothing to keep
i’m searching for something i don’t know
nothing to lose nothing to keep
Got no reason to sleep
from pub to pub from bar to bar
listen to all that punk rock stuff
we feel alive we feel united
the night is young the story’s old
boys and girls getting drunk
more beer to forget the blame
it’s always the same
it’s still the same
now you’re talking to me
together we waste the night away
much to lose much to keep
got no reason to sleep

BULLSHIT LIMBO
too bored to stay in
too broke to go out
too tired to dream on
too sane for the shrink
too whack to get on
too much for my sake
i’m stuck, i’m stuck
i’m stuck, i’m stuck
i’m stuck, i’m stuck
i’m stuck in bullshit limbo
too smart to believe
too dumb to understand
too cross to give in
Too young to be wise
too old for my age
too slow for my time

Don't waste your time with work today
Cos you won't get rich anyway
The rich are a club, watch who's let in
You lose this game before you begin
You leave your brains at the front door
When you head for the bosses' floor
Looking down on where you from
When you're jumping from that window
You're dead before you're 25
The state you're in is not a life
Die in pain to start again
You've got your fancy flat, don't fear poverty
Drained yourself of of energy
One dull moment, you think twice
Started to believe your own lies
Daddy put you in his company
You took the job happily
Broken down, burnt out you will see
Chasing a carreer is prison for eternity
You're dead before you're 25
The state you're in is not a life
Die in pain to start again
Work, rest, back again
Feeding bank accounts your life span
Day in, day out
What the fuck's this all about?

IT’S ALL BEEN DONE BEFORE
not a 100 years’ time and the division is complete
the need for discussion rendered obsolete
let’s shatter europe with another war
it’s all been done before
differing opinions made them close their hearts
another crisis
gave them a place to start
let’s shatter europe with another war
it’s all been done before

TRACKS
get in
and see the doors shut
To waste another
Boring day
don’t move
still you’re going
where you don’t
want to be
you’re stuck
you can’t get off
you are stuck
on this train
This rhythm is perverted
Like a heartbeat inverted
Sucks you in
Sucks you dry
don’t blink
see the headlights
in the tunnels
you go down
your way
is not up to you
you can’t change
in between
your life
planned already
just like tracks
Becomes the same
life is productivity
lives off of your naivety
going faster every day
efficiency is robbery
takes you time, can’t you see?
you live less and less each day
get out
when you know
that it’s wrong
and start again
get out
for your own sake
out of this wreck
and pull the brake
